The Global Marketing Director will:
Lead the Marketing function and organization globally and provide strategic direction to the function
Collaborate closely with the Regional Sales Managers in developing global and regionally focused marketing campaigns.
Ensure that Marketing plans, goals, and policies are consistent with established strategies and objectives as set out by the CEO or executive team.
Organize/ oversee advertising and communication strategies and campaigns.
Lead research and analytics of trends in the mining market, the company’s market share, potential for growth etc.
Control and optimization of marketing budgets and resources
Provide assistance analytics to the business owners regarding pricing.
Monitor progress of campaigns using various metrics an provide performance reports
Develop diverse marketing materials – brochures, press releases, website materials, etc
Develop and lead internal communications process for the CEO and executive leadership .
Ensure consistent pricing strategies and actions across the global organization.
Linking up with Sales to provide them with specific value propositions and offerings for the targeted customer segments that are consistent with the sales regional business plans.
Maintaining, documenting and disseminating knowledge about industry trends, opportunities, channels and competitors to support business development opportunities.
The ideal candidate will have:
Bachelor's Degree
15+ years of experience in Marketing function
Experience in industrial sector, heavy machinery or mining
Experience with SalesForce
Self-starter capable of leading, coordinating, & influencing cross-functional teams.
Excellent leadership and organizational skills
Strong communicator and interpersonal skills
Customer oriented approach
Familiar with social media and web analytics
Ability to travel internationally
Domestic and International Travel approximately 30% of time
Experience with inside sales and sales support (preferred)
MBA (preferred)
International experience (preferred)
