Your responsibilities:

  • Development of customer portfolio and business for Hitachi Automation systems (PLC and HMI) in the European market
  • Provide technical support for Hitachi PLC/HMI series based on CODESYS programming software
  • Assistance in customer PLC/HMI application design and offering consultation on best practice solutions
  • Customer visits and acquisition of demands for related inquiries to develop relations and increase cooperation for new projects
  • Technical clarification of customer issues with our head office in Japan

Your profile:

  • Deep knowledge in process automation/motion control systems
  • Wide experience in PLC programming with Siemens Simatic S7 and CODESYS base PLC (Schneider, ABB or EATON)
  • Solid experience in the following fields: Industrial Networks (Ethernet, PROFINET, EtherCAT, Modbus-TCP), HMI panels, SCADA
  • Machine Safety and Motion Control and Drives experience is a plus
  • University degree in Electrical Engineering, preferred branch of study Automation
  • Proficient language skills (verbal and written) in German and English
  • Proficient IT knowledge in standard systems (MS-Office)
  • Ability to work autonomously and self-dependently
  • High motivation and team working capabilities
  • Willingness to travel across Europe (about 20% of the time)
