Job Description HCM Functional Architect HCM Functional -- Core HR, Recruitment, Absence Management
In addition to working quickly to resolve client-specific support incidents, the successful candidate will be expected to work on small to medium sized implementation changes for our existing IT Managed Service customer base. A key responsibility is ensuring the accuracy and clear communications with clients within the ticketing system, to show detailed progress and resolutions.
The work can include:
• Identifying solutions to issues clients raise within their existing implementations
• Suggesting alternate best-practice ways to simplify, improve or enhance business processes, performing functional reviews of existing client configuration
• Functional / technical design documents for change implementation
• New functionality configuration, including requirements analysis and design, BR100 configuration documents, testing and supporting client testing
• Functionally support and test technical solutions developed by team members
• Debug and fix issues within FastFormula's, create new FastFormulas where required
• Team working to quickly and efficiently resolve issues in time-critical scenarios
• Working to short-term deadlines in relation to payroll cycles or HMRC tax reporting
• Liaising with clients to fully understand their issue to allow prompt resolution
• Detailed Functional knowledge for Oracle Payroll, proficiency in UK legislation
• In-depth functional knowledge for Core HCM and processes
• Mentoring junior team members and helping to develop team members around UK legislation
• Partaking within quarterly maintenance testing, new features deployment for SAAS colleagues
• Supporting multiple payroll cycles within a month time period
• Video calls with clients to run through issues
• Working on both E-Business Suite and SAAS instances
• Debugging issues within payroll cycles in a time-critical manner, finding workarounds if a quick resolution is not available
• Expanding skill sets and knowledge into new areas of functionality / modules within a SAAS instance
• Showcasing new features and explaining the benefits or drawbacks in a business-friendly manner
