Hitachi Rail is looking for an enthusiastic self-motivated Senior Commissioning Manager EPC who thrives in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate is comfortable performing a wide range of tasks from administrative to strategic. The position is based in Lima, Peru.

Accountabilities will include but are not limited to:
The commissioning and hand over of a complex Turn Key project (in terms of project size, complex technological systems or involving international companies) in accordance with the Contract Requirements, to the Operator for commercial operation
With reference to the assigned Turn Key complex project
Ensure the definition of the commissioning strategy.
Ensure the definition of the whole commissioning project activity schedule and its integration and synchronization with the construction activities and the project delivery work plan.
Ensure the on time delivery of the commissioning activities in accordance with commissioning strategy, the projects schedule and in accordance with RAMS, quality and safety requirements.
Ensure the effective implementation of HSE plans on site during commissioning phase.
Ensure the correct interface management with the Client/Engineer/Third parties during the tests and commissioning phase.
Ensure the proper hand over of the system to the Operator.
Required Skills/ Knowledge:
Knowledge of commissioning rules and standards: Knowledge of commissioning rules and standards also with reference to the specific project and country in order to adhere to them and induct other people involved on tests activities properly.
Planning and organization: Capability of planning the commissioning activities considering the necessary organization in order to perform the various tests.
Health, Safety and Environment: Knowledge of the Health, Safety and Environment rules and adhere to them.
On site working with technical and management responsibility: Capability to assume the necessary responsibility to manage activities on site both from a technical point of view and from a managerial point of view.
Tests: Capability to carry out and manage people and equipment to perform tests according to the defined tests procedures.
Railway environment: Knowledge of the railway environment and the related risks and rules and adhere to them in planning and executing commissioning activities.
Education / Qualifications:
Electrical, Electronic, or Computer Engineering or Information Technology Qualifications/ University Degree or Equivalent Technical Background
From 5 up to 10 Years of expertise
Languages:
Good English and spanish proficiency (written and spoken)
