Location: Muncie, IN, USAThe purpose of this position is to implement new model projects from concept through installation, debugging and production start-up.Job Summary:New model process implementation.
Support current production.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, high level of accuracy.
Confer with and prepares reports for upper management and possibly other Hitachi companies.
Make schedules and plan long term projects.
Provide strong leadership to subordinate personnel.
Interact with various levels of associates.
Analyze technology, resource needs, market demand, and confer with all departments to assess feasibility of projects.
Maintain knowledge of all processes, procedures, and equipment within Engineering
Coordinate and recommend cost savings and efficiency ideas for the facility.
Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to interact with all levels of organization as needed.
Knowledge of design techniques used in the production of technical plans and drawings.
Mechanical knowledge of the design, use, repair and maintenance of machines and tools actions to choose the most appropriate one.
Proven strong project leadership skills.
Education:
4-year College Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering Technology, Research and Development (R&D) Engineering, Other Engineering, or Other Technical Field.
Experience:
Minimum of 6 years of related work experience.
Knowledge of computer systems and spreadsheets necessary to perform job duties.
Experience with implementation of new process/products.
Intermediate experience required in Windows, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
