Location: Greenfield, INJob Summary:

Administer key supplier relationships, develop innovative approaches to value add, drive annual cost down initiatives, maintain deep product knowledge in their assigned commodities, identify and develop key suppliers capable of supporting company goals and/or product requirements in the areas of quality, cost, and delivery.Qualifications:Knowledge skills and abilities:

Develop and execute commodity strategies within assigned commodities
Supplier selection and supplier development utilizing QCDD analysis for assigned commodities
Negotiate Commercial Terms & Supply Agreements, verify supplier capacities, develop risk mitigation strategies (BCP), maintain supplier profiles, assess supplier tooling, and budget where needed
Execute comprehensive RFQ process for new parts in assigned commodity categories.
Annual Cost Down Planning, Strategy & Achievement
Support KNA manufacturing plants in Supplier Relationship Management, supply issues, MP Design Change
Other duties as assigned to support Purchasing department

Education: 4 yr. degree in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain Management (or commensurate work experience)


Experience:

Minimum of 3 years related work experience
Understanding and demonstrated application of Purchasing policies, procedures, & supply strategies
Intermediate experience required in Windows, MSWord, Excel, and PowerPoint


Travel: Domestic and international travel required up to 30%
