About the Opportunity

Due to an internal promotion we currently have an exciting opportunity for a Parts Specialist in our busy Invercargill Branch. This role is integral to the success of CablePrice and we are looking for someone with a willingness to learn and develop in their next role. The Parts Specialist is responsible for front-line parts sales and support to our internal and external customers, as well as inventory management and parts purchasing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Interpreting and processing customer requests
  • Providing service to internal customers for parts
  • Picking and packing parts and components
  • Sourcing parts from other sources as required
  • Utilising your highly developed communication skills
  • Exercising your strong computer skills, data entry accuracy and attention to detail
  • Highly organised in your approach to your work
  • Customer Service and Relationship Management
  • Be an active and contributing member of the CPL team and communicate appropriately to all CablePrice employees.
  • Health and Safety

You will have:

  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Proven organisational and planning skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills both verbal & written
  • The ability to positively engage with customers & staff
  • Good level of computer literacy
  • The ability to perform under pressure and to prioritise and multitask in a time-driven environment
  • Knowledge of the automotive or heavy transport industry would be desirable and will prove beneficial.
  • Individuals, who possess strong mechanical aptitude, or have experience in an automotive related industry or mechanics experience, may be considered for the role.

  • Salary range from $65,000.00-$75,000.00 per annum, dependent on skills and experience

  • Permanent, Full-time role working Monday - Friday with one Saturday (Half Day) on a rostered system
