About the Opportunity

We are looking for a reliable, organised and enthusiastic individual to join our team in Palmerston North. The Yardperson will be responsible for the control of machinery and attachments in and out of site, grooming of machines, basic repairs and maintenance to building and equipment on site and making sure the site is keep clean and tidy.

Key Responsibilities:

• Workshop and yard are maintained by ensuring that loose rubbish and spills are cleaned up in a timely manner
• The transport for each machine or attachment (in and out of the premises) is accurately recorded
• Transport requests for machines moves are co-ordinated effectively and machines are ready for collection when required
• Ensure that all repairs & maintenance for the premises are carried out so that it is functional
• Ensure that the Company vehicles are fully maintained and are presentable
• Machines are washed, when directed, using the steam cleaner and presented appropriately
