Mechanical Draftsperson

About the Opportunity
HCA Reman has a newly created opportunity for a, motivated and professional Mechanical Draftsperson to join our dynamic Remanufacturing team based in Queensland.

Reporting to the National Reman Manager, the focus of this role is to create 2D drawings and 3D models using Solid works for a large range of Remanufactured products. You will work closely with the production team to deliver Remanufacture components for Mining equipment.

We seek a like-minded individual who will become a core part and support mechanism for our Remanufacturing product division, managing all CAD data and its support systems and ensuring it complies with all relevant standards and procedures.

About You - To be successful in this role you will need:

• Ability to create CAD designs and drawings for Remanufacture.
• Maintain accurate and efficient document control and document management.
• Apply technical and practical knowledge across a range of mechanical applications.
• Display strong mechanical aptitude and drafting capabilities.
• High level of accuracy with attention to detail and quality control.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Excellent written and communications skills with the ability to influence and build effective relationships at all levels.
• Driven by continuous improvement and lean manufacturing principles.
• Ability to reverse engineer and convert to CAD models and drawings.
• CAM and CNC experience (Advantage)
• Enthusiastic, self-motivated, and able to work autonomously or as part of a group.
