What you'll be doing

Experience in cloud foundation deployments starting from organization setup, account structure, landing zone, networking particularly in the context of Private Cloud / Data Center integration with AWS, Azure and GCP.
Expert level knowledge in a hyperscaler specific IaaS and PaaS Solutions and Services design and implementation.
Demonstrated experience with open-source infrastructure as code software and automation software development tools including Terraform, Terraform Enterprise, Git, Jinkins, Ansible, Python, Chef or Puppet.
Experience in developing, configuring, and operating CI/CD pipeline tools.

What you bring to the team

12 - 15 years' experience in data center architecture design, public cloud infrastructure design, engineering or development including experience in hybrid cloud network and infrastructure integration, automation frameworks, public cloud infrastructure deployments and solutions for service provider or large enterprises.
o Experience in cloud foundation deployments starting from organization setup, account structure, landing zone, networking particularly in the context of Private Cloud / Data Center integration with AWS, Azure and GCP.
o Expert level knowledge in a hyperscaler specific IaaS and PaaS Solutions and Services design and implementation.
o Demonstrated experience with open-source infrastructure as code software and automation software development tools including Terraform, Terraform Enterprise, Git, Jinkins, Ansible, Python, Chef or Puppet.
o Experience in developing, configuring, and operating CI/CD pipeline tools.
o Demonstrated experience in public cloud migration/integration for AWS, GCP, Azure projects.
o A proven background and recent experience in modern cloud infrastructure and platform architecture practices including experience in network design/operations for campus, datacenter, and WAN environments leveraging leading networking technologies across multi-vendor deployments.
o Knowledge of identity and access management in on-premises solutions and the cloud and third-party identity providers.
o Good understanding of networking monitoring and management.
o Expert knowledge in designing business continuity, resiliency and disaster recover solution for hybrid cloud infrastructure and cloud platform services.
o Ability to lead the design and implementation of PaaS services, constructs and deployment methods including Database-as-a-Service, App Services, storage, and automation.
o Advanced experience with secure application platforms, infrastructure, and networking best practices, in particular: access control, segmentation, firewall, and VPN remote access.
o Experience in defining network performance monitoring and observability requirements.
o Understanding of compute virtualization in the Campus/DC/Cloud.
o Experience with application design patterns, enablement, and troubleshooting.
o Advanced certifications a plus: AWS certified solution arch., Microsoft Azure Certified solutions Architect Expert, Terraform Associate etc.

Salary Range: $160K - $170K Base + Benefits & Bonus

The expected pay is determined based on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, depth of experience in the practice area. Employees are eligible to participate in Hitachi Vantara's bonus/variable/commission pay programs, where applicable, and are subject to the program's conditions and restrictions.
