The Opportunity

Hitachi Construction Machinery Australia is a leading supplier of construction and mining equipment and is part of a global business. We are currently looking for a Mining Sales Administrator to assist the Mining Sales department, by providing support and working together with the Mining sales team to ensure the administration tasks are completed in a timely and accurate process. Role based at our Brisbane Corporate Support Office, located Wacol Queensland.

Reporting to the National Sales Administration Manager - Mining you will be responsible for:

  • Provide administrative support to the Administration Manager and Mining sales department and general administration tasks including Branch requests
  • Timely and accurate completion of monthly internal reports / presentations
  • Managing tasks within the Dealer Management System (Dynamics)
  • Ordering and management of promotional goods for the mining department
  • Ordering, receipting and maintaining records / reports for local attachments
  • To be conversant with and take an active part in all Quality Procedures, SOX and Internal audit compliance for the Mining Sales departments.
  • Support the national Mining Sales team with customer and product marketing activates.

To be successful in your application you will need:

  • Prior experience in Sales Administration
  • Strong working knowledge of commercial processes
  • Demonstrated experience with high-level communication skills, with the ability to highlight risks/formulate solutions to internal stakeholders the review with Suppliers.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the customer experience in the mining industry
  • Excellent attention to details and ability to multi task
  • Team co-ordination and ability to prioritise workload with a high level of accuracy.
  • Clear business level communication and presentation skills.
  • Intermediate to advanced MS office applications with strong attention to detail required.
  • Preference for applicants with tertiary Diploma qualification as minimum in related business studies.
