Software Test Engineer Senior - IIOT ( 5 to 8years Exp)

Overview

This role is hands-on Sr. Software QA Engineer to create and perform test on IIoT applications platform and solutions. Ideal candidate would be self-starting, energetic individual, not afraid to questionassumptions and be imaginative. The successful candidate will integrate our engineering team and work with the engineering leadership, with product management and with quality engineers to enhance and automate the testing efforts for the Lumada IIoT software suite.

Main Responsibilities

• Create and automate test scenarios based on requirements, user stories and feedback from other team members
• Create and perform and automate regression tests
• Open, manage and coordinate defects/bugs
• Report to engineering leadership on test progress and execution
• Provide Technical Support to Sales Engineers and/or internal or external customers when needed

Mandatory skill set:

5+years of hands on experience in QA role.

• • Day to day working experience with Linux OS for env setup, automation etc.
  • Good hands-on with understanding and writing Shell scripts, various Linux commands.
  • Good hands-on with Docker containers, Dockerfile, Docker compose to setup test env.
  • Selenium with Java for UI testing, Maven and TestNG knowledge.
  • Rest Assured usage for API testing and Postman usage.
  • Experience with Products installation, upgrade etc to setup test env.

Good to have:

• Kubernetes knowledge
• CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins
• JMeter usage for Performance testing
• Exposure to Windows and Mac OS for products installation and testing
• Exposure to any monitoring tools e.g. ELK, Nagios etc
• Exposure to Cloud env (AWS/Azure/GCP)
