ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Develop and perform the Production Control department’s half-year activities plan as well as the yearly activities plan.
  • Develop and perform the activities that are necessary to maintain optimum inventory and logistics planning.
  • Develop an excellent communication with customers and suppliers.  Solve and improve any issues if necessary.
  • Instruct and monitor the coherence of manufacturing plan and material purchasing plan.
  • Monitor and promote improvement on each process that is related to the quantity of products from the point of purchasing of material until shipment of the products.
  • Instruct and monitor Kaizen activities regarding production information as well as the material flow.
  • Plan and promote systemizing (utilize more computers) of the Material Control and Warehouse duties.
  • Develop employees’ training plan and perform and evaluate the result of training. 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree with more than 10 years of experience in related field.
  • Have more than 5 years of experience in supervising material control employees.
  • Have knowledge of material control and inventory control techniques.
  • Have knowledge of TS16949/ISO14000.
  • Have good communication skills.
  • Must be able to use MSWord and Excel and PowerPoint.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Responsible for the direction and supervision of employees. 

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Light to moderate physical effort required.  Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds.  Regularly required to sit, stand, reach and move about the plant.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

Work performed in an office and plant environment.  Required to wear safety glasses and wear steel toe shoes while performing specific tasks or while in specific manufacturing areas.
