Our IDA team (Insight Discovery Analytics) are a global group of experts who perform a critical role in the technical presales cycle. The IDA program utilizes software that performs Storage Analytics once deployed into customer environments - there it will run and allow us to recommend future decisions based on the analysis of the customers estate. This is a role that has presales focus but is about sales enablement - allowing us to use data to solution better, faster and more accurately to address customer pain points.

This is a small but growing group who in the last year alone were responsible for >$60m of revenue globally, the majority of which came from our enterprise customers. With the additional investment in growing this team we are expecting to increase revenues with this program in FY23.

What you'll be doing

This is a multi-faceted role; You will be acting as a client facing consultant, a technical expert on the HV portfolio but importantly interpreting storage analytics data, presenting the findings and making recommendations for solution(s) to address those findings. You are the key interface between the customer technical / executive team and our own sales and presales for the IDA engagement.

What you bring to the team
  • Background and breadth of knowledge of enterprise storage, including but not limited to:
  • Block, File, Compute, NAS/SAN, Converged, Hyper Converged, Virtualisation and Cloud
  • Hands on experience with multi-vendor storage platforms
  • Exemplary consultancy skills and experience - you are client facing with excellent written, verbal and presentation skill
  • Ability to influence executives, stakeholders, technical/non-technical audiences - both in our customers and internally at Hitachi
