HR Project Specialist

Description

As an HR Project Specialist, you will leverage your excel and PowerBI skills to extract, manipulate, and present data to help drive business decisions. In addition, you will assist the HRIS team with Workday module implementations and provide general HR support where needed.

This is a hybrid role located in Holland, MI. You must be able to travel onsite for various business needs.

What You’ll Do:

• Function as an HR data analyst
• Build internal relationships with JR Leadership across BU’s to support strategic HR initiatives
• Coordinate with Employee Relations and Recruiting Teams
• Participate in HR process, procedure, policy, and systems-focused projects
• Identify opportunities for improvement within the scope of HR
• When necessary, utilize a continuous improvement approach
• Partner with management, gaining management buy-in at various levels as needed
• Work cross-functionally and across locations
• Will be responsible for conducting project audits and maintenance
• Generate reports as needed
• Provide departmental support to HR team members
• Act as a vital resource to HR team during change
• Provide input on company policies and practices
• General understanding of HR policy, employment law, and business needs
• Promote an equal opportunity and diverse workforce
• Focus on employee retention through HR improvements
• General understanding of the manufacturing environment
• Ability to obtain a working knowledge of the JR culture and specific position requirements
• Must possess excellent communication and organization skills

What You’ll Bring:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Human Resources, or relevant degree is preferred but not required
• Minimum of 2 years in HRIS specific role highly preferred
• Extensive use of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook

• Must be detail conscious and have strong analytical skills.
• Ability to handle data with confidentiality.
