Senior Equipment Technician / Diesel Mechanic

The Opportunity

Due to continued growth in our Hawkes Bay region, we have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and enthusiastic Senior Equipment Technician (Heavy Diesel Mechanic) to join our team!

This role will take charge of the existing two technician and be the vital go between the service advisors and technitions to ensure our customers are getting the highest level of service.

If you have the following in your toolbox, we would love to hear from you:

• Heavy Diesel Qualification with 5 years + experience heavy diesel experience
• Mechanical capability and technical skills; diagnosing faults and servicing heavy construction and forestry machines
• Pre delivery and sales builds of new equipment experience
• Excellent diagnostic ability and analytical thinking to navigate complex issues and deliver high-quality outcomes
• Computer literacy and a committed, customer-focused mindset ensuring the CablePrice "first choice" customer vision is upheld
• Able to think outside the box
• Proven leadership skills would also be an advantage
• Health & safety champion
