The Opportunity

The Training Coordinator will be responsible for planning, scheduling, and coordinating the delivery of training to internal and external clients. The successful candidate will be able to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to maintain engagement and satisfy the needs of the wider business. The role requires a highly organized and detail-oriented individual with excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Field requests for training and assess business needs through consultation.
  • Coordinate with Managers, Trainers, Key account Managers, Service Managers and Customer contacts to ensure the contractual obligation to provide training is fulfilled.
  • Keep records of communication with all stakeholders.
  • Maintain a comprehensive training calendar that includes confirmed bookings, and projected future bookings, and tracks trainer's days of delivery and projected days of delivery.
  • Source and secure materials and resources for training delivery.
  • Work with the Training Department administrator and Apprentice Coordinator cooperatively to ensure critical functions are maintained through any leave or absences.
  • Develop & implement strategic plans to improve performance, communication and reporting of training.

What are we looking for?

  • Proven experience as a Training Coordinator or project manager.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with trainers, managers, and customers.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
