About the Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated proven individual to Manage and help coordinate our Parts Department. The position will see you focus on the delivering positive outcomes for this growing parts department of our Launceston Branch. You will lead a small but dedicated team in coordinating the supply chain of quality parts to our valued customer base, whilst liaising with internal stakeholders to ensure that a high level service delivery.

In this position, you will be providing a range of OEM level services related to parts in end to end customer query management. This position will be best suited to the personable professional who holds a real passion for providing customer service from an operational standpoint.

To achieve this, you will need to:

  • Work with customers, suppliers and internal stakeholders to identify efficiency and cost down opportunities within own area or across business.
  • Ensure the effective operation and compliance of the Parts Department with company policy, procedures and quality requirements.
  • Ensure HCA employees and contractors comply with all WHS responsibilities and that a safety first culture is a consistent behavior within the department

To be successful, you will need:

  • A proven background in Spare Parts warehousing and inventory management.
  • Demonstrated safety focus with a strong understanding of WHS Principles
  • Proven leadership skills in a similar environment where you have developed and mentored staff.
  • High OEM level understanding and mechanical aptitude for parts support
  • Appropriate Trade / Post Trade Qualifications and related Product Training.
  • Excellent business acumen with exposure to Project Management.
