The Job:

Full spectrum of HR / HR Business Partnering role overseeing all HR matters in the Singapore office, providing shared management support to affiliated companies and global HR initiatives.

As Hitachi Asia Ltd is the regional HQ for Asia, there will be responsibility for leading key projects and providing guidance to our overseas offices in Asia region, as well as represent the company for global projects.

Business Partnering

  • Understand & support Business Units towards achieving their business goals through human capital
  • Responsible for annual Hitachi Insight survey, follow ups, analytics, focus group discussions and to support Business Units on action planning and taking action
  • Provide advisory / guidance on all HR matters
  • Process improvement and review to ensure optimal support for business operations

Talent Acquisition

  • Provide efficient acquisition of resources to meet business needs
  • Manage vendors, channels and platforms  
  • Handle job portals and ensure seamless on-boarding of new employees

Performance Management

  • Process owner for end-to-end performance management processes in terms of policies, system and overall exercise for the company
  • Regional responsibility in term of timeline & key activities of each cycle

HR management & manpower reporting

  • Regional HR reporting for manpower reporting on monthly basis
  • Handles annual manpower budgeting exercise   
  • Regular internal reporting such as system access, fixed asset, audit & compliance, HQ audit, etc
  • MOM & government related reporting

Employee Life-cycle activities

  • Overseeing the end-to-end employee life-cycle activities from talent acquisition, on-boarding / off-boarding
  • HR advisor to all employees on HR related matters
  • Global HRIS system owner and project lead on system enhancements

Learning & Development

  • Overseeing all learning & development initiatives, activities & systems
  • Partner with Talent Management team to ensure holistic development of all employees

Team coverage of duties

  • Working within a lean local team, coverage of duties of team members in times of long leave eg Maternity, long holiday, business trips, etc
