Description
As a Payroll Specialist, you are responsible for all aspects of payroll including processing, balancing and reporting to ensure timely and accurate payment of employees using Workday. In addition, you will troubleshoot and reconcile any payroll related issues, maintain compliance and assist employees with any questions or concerns.This is a hybrid role reporting to Holland, MI with ability to report to other JR business units once trained.
What You’ll Do:
- Manage ERP budget and actual performance during SAP implementation
- Assist with improving the weekly cash flow forecast
- Assist with the daily banking requirements and process deposits
- Monitor and facilitate bank guarantee process
- Prepare monthly metrics for Management and Board Package
- Create and maintain a system for global Fixed Asset oversight
- Manage Inventory and quarterly cycle counting
- Work with the Sales department to reconcile order volume and backlog monthly
- Assist with projected cash and update the JR receipt forecast
- Prepare bank reconciliations and monitor daily activity
- Help maintain and develop Great Plains statistical reporting
- Assist with a timely and accurate month end close process
- Support quarterly and year end audits
- Manage operational data and maintain data accuracy and integrity
- Assist with ERP implementation and provide subject matter expertise

What You’ll Bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, or related field
- Minimum 2 years of experience in payroll
- Experience processing payroll in Workday highly preferred
- JSOX experience a plus
- Highly analytical, proven skills in problem solving and attention to detail.
- Experience with CRM and ERP systems in a manufacturing setting desired.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Firm understanding of GAAP and IFRS
- Strong Excel skills
- Experience using Microsoft Great Plains and Report writing tools a plus
