Quality Engineer

Description

For our Business Unit High Voltage in Lodi (MI) we are looking for a Quality Engineer. In particularly, you will follow the integrated multifunction products.

Responsibilities:

• Ensures quality adherence of products at each stage of value chain starting from incoming of raw material till customer end.

• Builds and ensures the correct and effective implementation of the quality strategy in line with BU / HUB strategy.

• Ensures the unit's quality management system is maintained and up to date Monitor quality KPIs as per BU guideline and ensure implementation of the same in unit. Inter department co-ordination for driving quality improvements. Ensures customer complaints are handled professionally and in timely manner. Effective taking of preventive and corrective actions in quality supervision Develops knowledge about problem solving tools and high-quality customer reports. Supervising the process of customers' complaints - CCRP (our Hitachi tool for handling costumer complain)

• Coordinates and participates in suppliers' development, implementation of new materials products.

• Planning and supervision of internal ISO audits and external GQA audits. Identify and develop quality team, living Hitachi Energy's leadership pillars

Your background:

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering

• More than 5 years of technical background in manufacturing with at least 3 years of experience in Quality function in the power industry

• Proven experience in quality management and facing customers

• Ability to make decisions and solve problems.

• Technical know-how of metal enclosed switchgear is an advantage

• Knowledge of ISO:9001 standard, experience in conducting audits. Knowledge of tools used to analyse and improve quality.

• The ability to manage a cross functional team and motivate people to achieve unit's goals.

• Consistency and determination in achieving the set business goals and introducing changes. Independent, cooperative, and communicative style of work.

• Fluency in English and Italian;

• Good communication and organizational skills and experience in intercultural cooperation
