R&D Engineer - Electronics

Join our team and take on the exciting challenge of developing and maintaining mission-critical hardware systems. In this role you will have the opportunity to design, implement, and test new hardware, and contribute to our continuous improvement mission by participating in cross-functional projects.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain mission-critical hardware systems
• Design, implement and test new hardware, benchmarking with other units to find the best possible solutions
• Write detailed technical descriptions for functions and units and ensure solid technical documentation
• Contribute actively and creatively to cross-functional projects in support of our continuous improvement mission

Your background:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
• Strong qualifications in telecommunications, with several years of experience in digital design focused on packet switched technologies
• Expertise in state-of-the-art microprocessor and peripherals design
• Knowledge of TDM/SDH/PDH, analogue electronics, power supplies, voice (two-wire/four-wire) interfaces, and thermal simulation practices is beneficial
• Excellent oral and written English skills
• Strong communication skills, combined with networking and influencing skills
