Description

Your responsibilities:

  • You will Lead the project team, establishes the project execution approach, and oversees project hand-over, execution planning, and monitoring and control activities for both internal and external resources to accomplish all project goals and define project plan documents, including scope and financial plans, schedule and risk management plans.
  • Ensures that the project follows execution best practices and HAPG policies and effectively monitors and controls project progress.
  • You will monitor project progress and regularly analyses project critical paths to ensure all critical path activities and project milestones are progressed to the plan, notifies project director of any deviations or scheduling issues, and implements actions for optimizing resources.  
  • You will be making notes of issues progress reports, project updates and productivity data on a regular basis and prepare materials for and deliver project reviews.
  • You will conduct analysis of plan versus actual project performance under the supervision of the project director and monitors project cost, expenses, and cash flow.
  • You will monitor and manage requests for invoicing, based on project payment milestones and identifying, qualities, quantities and manages project risks, and ensures that all opportunities are identified and pursued.
  • You will Capture, analyse, and share lessons learned throughout the project and ensures that the project is formally closed out, as contractually agreed.
  • Drives the formal acceptance of the project, contract close-out and its acknowledgement by the customer.
  • You will ensure that the project consistently applies contract and claims management, in accordance with HAPG policies and contractual agreements.
  • Successfully procures all required services, materials, and equipment for the project from external and internal suppliers. 
  • You will act as the key contact for the customer and an escalation point for project issues.
  • Builds and maintains strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders and effectively communicates with all stakeholders.
  • Monitors and maintains various project registers – e.g. project transmittal register, issues & actions register, risk and opportunities register, deliverable & quality register, documentation register, etc.
  • Effectively communicate appropriate information to project team, customers and other stakeholders in a timely manner and to achieve desired understanding and ensures the project follows and complies with company health, safety, and environmental policies and working procedures and practices are followed at all times including the wearing and maintenance of assigned Personal Protective Equipment as required.
  • Attendance at required health, safety, and environment training, report injury, incidents, hazards and near miss events and model safe work behaviours in all aspects of work and actively identify hazards and risk controls.

Your background:

  • Minimum bachelor’s degree or 5 years’ experience in a similar role; preferably holds nationally and or internationally recognized project management training and certifications – e.g. PMI, PRINCE2.
  • Skills – Proficient with MS Word and MS Excel; Proficient maintaining schedules for projects using recognized project scheduling tools; Proficient organizer; Ability to influence and coordinate stakeholders.
  • Experience – 3-5 years in a similar role – e.g. Associate Project Manager, Project Manager, Project Coordinator, Project Engineer
