Description

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare proposals for our local market considering all economical and technical project aspects as well as our customers bidding process.

  • Support Sales team in the negotiation/clarification during bidding process.

  • Track proposal status and follow-up with Sales/WCFE team and customers.

  • Planning the daily offer volume with the sales team to ensure delivery dates.

  • Review and comment customer’s specification and requirements and determine with Sales team appropriate solution for proposal.

  • Identifies potential risks in the bids/estimates/quotations.

  • Participate on risk reviews and internal negotiation.

  • Prepare local and global risk assessments to present internal transformer service team as well as HUB BU.

  • Coordination with Service Sales Manager to decide on pricing strategies.

  • Communication with Hitachi factories, external factories, and third partners for technical and commercial clarifications.

  • Help with reviewing certain legal aspects – Terms and Conditions of Sales.

  • Handle and execute quotation documents in the internal system.

Background:

  • A degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.

  • More than 2 years’ work experience in sales, tendering/proposal preparation for Service.

  • Knowledge in transformers operation and maintenance is a plus.

  • Being technically, analytical, proactive & innovative, solution & target and teamwork oriented.

  • Being customer and market oriented and approaching verbal and written communication skills.

  • Having good planning and organization skills.

  • Ability to handle many proposals simultaneously.

  • Self-reliance and responsibility.

  • Good command of written English, spoken is a plus.

  • Proficiency with technical tools such as MS-Office and Salesforce
