Equipment Technician / Diesel Mechanic

About the Opportunity

Due to continued growth in our Christchurch Branch, we have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and enthusiastic Heavy Equipment Technician (Heavy Diesel Mechanic) to join our team! At CablePrice you are working on the latest technology in Machines and have the advantage of gaining product knowledge on worldwide brands.

This position would suit a mechanical trades professional who is dedicated to providing quality, efficient and accurate service and maintenance outcomes. If you have the following in your toolbox, we would love to hear from you:

• Heavy Diesel or Automotive Qualification with 3 years experience or 5 years + heavy diesel experience (no qualification)
• Ability to travel to our branches and mine sites for servicing and diagnostics on mining equipment
• Mechanical capability and technical skills; diagnosing faults and servicing Equipment Machinery
• Excellent diagnostic ability and analytical thinking to navigate complex issues and deliver high-quality outcomes
• Ability to apply analytical thinking in order to navigate complex issues, troubleshoot problems and deliver high-quality outcomes providing solutions
• Confident computer literacy and a committed, customer-focused mindset ensuring the CablePrice "first choice" customer vision is upheld
