The Opportunity

We have a great opportunity for an experienced Trades Assistant to join our Remanufacturing team based in Wacol. In this role, you will build on your existing mechanical skills, responsible for providing general workshop assistance to our Mechanical fitters and Mechanics. This permanent role will allow you to access OEM training while you build a long-term career in a global company. Other responsibilities include:

  • Supporting the service technicians in the Reman workshop
  • Maintain a high level of accuracy when carrying out final quality assurance inspections
  • Working in a safe and tidy manner - safety takes priority over everything else
  • Complete tasks with minimal supervision

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Have mechanical experience and/or aptitude
  • Basic computer skills
  • Current Drivers Licence
  • Highly desirable to have additional licenses such as rigging/dogging, working at heights & forklift
