Ensure efficiency and effectiveness of operations to facilitate business activities
- The candidate for this position should have experience in the manufacturing / Power industry and having strong understanding of manufacturing.
- Ensures that Group and local health, safety and environmental guidelines and directives are implemented and understood to ensure safety of people and resources.
- Maintain Safety and Quality standard in production line.
- Ensure in process quality checks and skill certification of blue-collar employees.
- Setting daily/weekly/monthly objectives and communicating to the employees (blue collar/white collar/contract)
- Blue collar management for optimum qualitative output.
- Responsible for Productivity improvement
- Manages or performs work associated with implementation of improvements in production line.
- Coordination with cross functional team for timely resolution of any issues as well as implement the best practices.
- Responsible for 5S, safety for the stores function.
- Review and implement ABRA & SOP for Production line.
- Aware about productivity improvement tools.
- Leading the Lean Light House deployment with factory operations team
- Responsible for first step of manufacturing to packing and dispatch
Qualification:
- Degree in Electrical / Mechanical engineering with 5 to 7 years’ experience in Manufacturing. (Preferred Experience in High Voltage switch gear industry)
Knowledge & Skills:
- Must be familiar with SAP environment and basic experience of tools like lean manufacturing, KANBAN, FIFO.
- Well versed with MS Office

- Analytical aptitude and thinking, strong data collection, and analytical skills for a complex project
