Description
We are a leading supplier of high-performance semiconductors with production facilities and research laboratories in Switzerland and Prague. This is custom and small-batch production of a wide range of products, and we are increasing the number of employees for new orders.
Selected work agenda:
- customer claims – active participation on their solution, feedback to production, implementation of preventive/corrective actions and their thorough follow-up
- active participation on behalf of quality dept. in internal claim solution process
- quality related documentation – risk analysis (D-, E- and P-FMEA moderating), unify and simplify the agenda of control plans across the plant, verification of updates made to such documentation
- product audits – periodic and verification testing, realization of resulting corrective/preventive actions
- random process control – sampling and verification of the rules and instructions being used in practice
- qualification of purchased components – follow-up during verification and ramp-up production, participating on life-expectancy and reliability testing, responsibility for final evaluation
- release of serial production – active participation on all quality activities together with PM and process engineers
- waiver management – follow-up of correct handling and evaluation throughout the process, supporting PEG dept.
- change management – verification testing set-up, follow-up on processing and final evaluation of the intended change while ensuring resulting activities and update of documentation related
- people management – responsible for quality assurance section including 3 other colleagues (inspectors of outgoing and in-process control)
What we expect from you:
- Electrical, chemical, material science, quality field university degree with relevant industrial experience (˃5 years)
- MS Office advanced user knowledge, experience with work in SAP system would be an advantage
- English language skills at B2 level (ability to lead negotiation with foreign partners), other languages welcome (especially German)
- ability to read technical drawings, standards and specification documents
- good practical hands-on experience and overview of product/process quality compliance tools (D-FMEA, P-FMEA and other APQP/PPAP or similar methodics/documentation, G-8D, Six Sigma approach) mandatory
- proven experience in change and waiver management, handling of non-conformities in production and connected processes as well as experience with release of serial production following sampling process and ramp-up phase
