Hitachi Rail is looking for an enthusiastic self-motivated Project Support  who thrives in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate is comfortable performing a wide range of tasks from administrative to strategic. The position is based in Genoa and Turin (preferred locations) or Naples- Italy

Accountabilities

Ensure  specific activities and tasks on the railways signalling projects (ACCM IXL; ERTMS, SCCM, SCMT ect), at support of Project Manager:

• Accounting management (Progress Payment Certificate) for the Project;
• Preparation of Project Progress  Payment Certificates (SAL) of the Project;
• Preparation of Variation Orders for the Projects and “Differential appraisals”;
• Preparation/monitoring and updating of Claims (Riserve) in “Accounting Records”;
• Preparation of documentation  for the authorization to work for the Subcontractors (antimafia and subcontracting authorizations);
• Controlling of Project Progress  Payment Certificates of Subcontractors;
• Contribute to the  maintenance of the Project Management Plan;
• Ensure analysis and records of Project documents and Contract administrations (providing analysis, keeping records, etc.);
• Support the Project Manager for specific task.

Required Skills/Knowledge

• From 2 up to 5 years expertise in the role;
• Previous experience in the role could be a plus;
• Project Monitoring;
• Accounting management for project;
• Project scope and time Management;
• Project Quality;
• Knowledge of Public Works Contract Code (preferred)

Education/Qualification

Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent Technical Background.

Languages
Fluent in English.
