General Information

Hitachi Energy is seeking an SAP Production Planning / Execution Project Manager. This role will report into the North America High voltage Reiwa Project Manager.  The scope of responsibility will be across US, CA and MX businesses with primary responsibilities to manage and drive the implementation of global processes related to production planning and execution based on the SAP S/4 Hana platform.   

Your Responsibilities

Lead the implementation of Global processes related to SAP Production Planning and Execution across multiple High Voltage businesses. Work with the factory business leads to ensure all project deliverables – data cleansing, role mapping, user acceptance testing, and process documentation are completed per the project timeline.  Provide regular communication convey implementation status, change management implications, and project timelines. Collaborate with the factory leads to balance the workload of local Subject Matter experts Work with the factories to ensure all processes are mapped and defined as per standard; identify process areas where change will be significant and create mitigation plans to adopt a new process.   Support each business in managing issues and requests related to system performance and functionality. Act as a bridge between business and Global IS support.

Your Background

Bachelor's Degree in business, engineering, computer science, data science or related field and a minimum of 2-5 years of work experience. Candidate must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for Hitachi Energy in US. Proven relationship-building and project management skills. Excellent written and verbal communications skills will be required to negotiate resolutions of controversial issues.  Requires strong analytical skills, initiative, and ingenuity to solve complex problems and implement remedial measures. Demonstrated team orientation, motivation, and flexibility Requires broad knowledge of manufacturing operations, business processes, business tools and the flow of data. Knowledge of master data in manufacturing environment, SAP experience, Excel Proficiency and Process Mapping capabilities. Able to travel domestically, 5-10% travel.
