The team leader work center diffusion, metallization and Wet etch is managing said work center including approx. 20 direct reports and cost center ownership. 

Position: Work Center Team Leader - Diffusion, Metallization, and Wet Etch

About Us: We are a leading company in the production of power semiconductors, and we are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join us as the Team Leader for our Work Center - Diffusion, Metallization, and Wet Etch. Situated within our BiMOS Frontend, this critical role focuses on driving safety, efficiency, and productivity in our production processes.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and mentor a team of process and maintenance experts, fostering a culture of continuous improvement in safety, availability, and yield.
  • Collaborate closely with stakeholders such as R&D, product engineering, facility management, and supply chain management to ensure smooth operations and effective communication.
  • Take ownership of the work center's budget and cost responsibility, optimizing resources and driving cost-effective solutions.
  • Drive the work center's performance in meeting key targets, including cost reduction, productivity improvement, yield enhancement, cycle time reduction, capacity utilization, uptime maximization, rework reduction, quality enhancement, and innovation implementation.
  • Lead or participate in development, improvement, and transformation projects to enhance overall operational excellence.

Qualifications:

  • Master's or Ph.D. degree in Physics, Chemistry, Materials Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Over 5 years of experience in a semiconductor frontend production environment.
  • Strong knowledge and experience in diffusion, metallization, wet etch, and/or wafer thinning processes would be advantageous.
  • Previous leadership experience is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in process optimization techniques and tools to drive yield and productivity improvements.
  • Knowledge of (Lean) Six Sigma methodologies is considered an asset.
  • Excellent communication skills in both English and German, with fluency in at least one language being essential.
