Description

Your industry expertise will guide Hitachi Energy activities and establish us as a thought leader possessing great contribution to the manufacture of hydrogen and its use as a sustainable fuel. As the Hitachi Energy expert in hydrogen process, production, and application, you will frame the customer understanding and publicly promote our capability to industry. 

The main responsibilities associated with this function are:

  • Develop and transfer the domain expertise
  • Define the Hitachi Energy participation
  • Lead the development of strategic partnerships required for global, relevant, meaningful participation in hydrogen
  • Impactfully promote Hitachi Energy to industry and customers
  • Develop and lead (to award) an initial pipeline of non-conventional projects or new customers that establishes Hitachi Energy presence in hydrogen

Deliverables include:

  • Tools for customer engagement, used by the global marketing and sales organization (e.g., maturity model)
  • Fully qualified Opportunities
  • Reached Agreements with customers and partners
  • Updated value propositions
  • Socialization of the developed experiences and knowledge
  • Facilitate voice of the customer into the organization

In addition, you will interact and work on specific topics, engaging global customers in the support of development in LSM (Local Sales & Marketing) and BU (Business Unit) capability. 

As a team member of the global marketing and sales organization, your success depends on your successful engagement with portfolio management, solution managers, corporate research, industry network leads, channel management, marketing, and go to market. 

Knowledge, skills, experience:

  • Master’s degree in chemical engineering, electrical engineering, electrical power systems or similar
  • Experience in hydrogen production and its application, complemented by twelve years’ work within the energy sector; background in chemical, oil, and gas industry or renewables systems- solar and wind
  • Fluent command of English, both written and spoken; well-developed communication skills demonstrated by a record of public speaking.
  • Willingness to travel extensively on business assignments.
  • Flexible with demonstrated experience in leading and managing change.

This is a global position so the selected person can be based anywhere in the world.
