As a technician or master craftsman (f/m/d) in the field of power engineering service, you will be responsible for site management, installation, commissioning and service of HVDC systems. You see yourself as an entrepreneurial engineer who is used to tackling the necessary activities within the scope of on-site commissioning with a high degree of initiative, assertiveness and a high level of customer orientation.

  • Site management, installation, commissioning and service of HVDC systems
  • Preparation of commissioning and service documentation
  • Training of customer personnel
  • Responsibility for high-voltage equipment testing, operation of the overall system as well as the protection and control systems
  • Supervision of the on-time connection of the systems as well as troubleshooting, preparation and revision of the commissioning reports or documentation
  • Preparation of operating procedures and specifications
  • Consideration of the relevant safety regulations in the daily work
  • Work locations worldwide - also longer stays for global HVDC projects with work locations e.g. Congo, Lithuania, France
  • Supervision of smaller new construction projects in the field of HVDC light and HVDC Classic as Site Manager

Your background

  • Successfully completed training as technician or master craftsman in the field of electrical engineering or power engineering
  • Relevant professional experience in protection and control systems is an advantage
  • German and English fluently spoken and written
  • High degree of initiative, assertiveness, willingness to learn and high customer orientation
  • High flexibility and enjoy working in a multicultural environment
  • Willingness to travel worldwide
