What you will be doing

Hitachi Vantara is looking for an experienced SAP S/4HANA Sales and Distribution (SD) Architect and Team Lead who has a proven track record of success, aptitude, and leadership in the SAP Sales and Distribution solution area. The position requires hands on configuration skills in SAP S/4HANA to support all aspects of the order to cash cycle in SAP. The resource must have the ability to help the client define the order to cash solution design in SAP S/4HANA to support their business transformation journey.

As an, experienced SAP S/4HANA Sales and Distribution Architect/Lead, this role is responsible to gather business requirements, design the solution, prototype solution options, configure the solution, build, and resolve defects associated with testing the solution, and provide key implementation skills to deploy SAP S/4HANA.

What you will need:
  • 6-8+ years of experience in implementing SAP S/4HANA Sales and Distribution functionality
  • Experienced in the following key areas of SD functionality in SAP S/4HANA
    • Sales Org Structure
    • Sales Quotations
    • Sales Contracts
    • Sales Process Master Data
    • Pricing
    • Sales order processes (exposure to various channels including eCommerce and EDI)
    • Available to Promise
    • Delivery Processes
    • Shipping Processes
    • Billing Processes
    • Integration with other Logistics modules
    • Fiori applications to support the Order to Cash Processes
  • Served in Team lead or Architect role for at least 3 full life cycle implementations of SAP S/4HANA SD version 1610 or higher
  • Prior consulting experience with a management or IT consulting firm
  • Ability to work with onsite and remote project delivery models
  • Experience working in the industrial manufacturing, consumer products, or chemical manufacturing industries
  • Bachelor's degree

Additional Skills:
  • Demonstrated competency in verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience presenting to large groups focused on SAP solutions and functionality
  • SAP ACTIVATE methodology experience desired

Regular and expeditious travel throughout the United States is required to meet client needs and timetables
