What you will be doing

Hitachi Vantara is looking for an experienced SAP S/4HANA FICO Experienced Senior Consultant or Manager who has a proven track record of success, aptitude, and leadership in the SAP Financial Accounting and Controlling solution area. The position requires hands on configuration skills in SAP S/4HANA FICO to support all aspects of the project execution cycle in SAP. The resource must have the ability to help the client define the Accounting solution design in SAP S/4HANA to support their business transformation journey.

As an, experienced SAP FI/CO consultant, this role is responsible to gather business requirements, design the solution, prototype solution options, configure the solution, build, and resolve defects associated with testing the solution, and provide key implementation skills to deploy SAP S/4HANA.

What you bring to the team

• 6-8+ years of experience in implementing SAP FI/CO
• Prior working experience in an Accounting role
• Experienced in the following key areas of SAP FI/CO functionality
  o Accounts Payable
  o Accounts Receivable
  o General Ledger
  o Cost Center Accounting
  o Fixed Asset Accounting
  o Internal Orders
  o Bank Accounting
  o Basic COPA understanding
  o SAP Fiori usage for core accounting activities
• Served in Senior Consultant or Manager role for at least 3 full life cycle implementations of SAP FICO
• Exposure to SAP ECC to S/4HANA migration projects
• Prior consulting experience with a management or IT consulting firm
• Ability to work with onsite and remote project delivery models
• Experience working in the industrial manufacturing, process manufacturing, consumer products, or high tech manufacturing industries
• SAP S/4HANA (version 1709 or higher) experience
• Understanding of data migration processes, software development life cycle tasks, solution testing processes, business and technical cutover planning and solution management processes
• CPA or equivalent skills
• Bachelor's degree

Regular and expeditious travel thoughout the United States is required to meet client needs and timetables
