What You'll Be Doing

Hitachi Vantara is looking for an experienced SAP Master Data Experienced Senior Consultant or Manager who has a proven track record of success, aptitude, and leadership in the SAP Data migration cockpit, SAP Data services, or other custom data migration programs and processes. The position requires hands on technical skills in SAP S/4HANA and ECC where your responsibilities involved leading the data migration track on a full cycle project. The resource must have the ability to help the client define the data migration strategy, approach, and execution process using SAP's Data migration cockpit to support the client business transformation journey.
This role is responsible to gather data migration requirements, confirm fit with standard data migration templates, test data load files, resolve defects associated with testing data loads, and provide key data migration skills to deploy SAP S/4HANA.

What You Bring To The Team

• 5 - 7+ years of experience in implementing SAP solutions
• Exposure to SAP data migration tools and best practice methodologies for converting legacy system data to SAP S/4HANA
• Prior working experience as an ABAP developer or Business Objects Data services consultant
• Experience using the Data migration cockpit for SAP S/4HANA projects
• Served in a Senior Consultant or Manager role for at least 3 - 4 full life cycle implementations of SAP
• Prior consulting experience with a management or IT consulting firm
• Ability to work with onsite and remote project delivery models
• Experience working in the industrial manufacturing, process manufacturing, consumer products, or high tech manufacturing industries
• Bachelor's degree

Additional Skills:

• Communication skills: Demonstrated competency in verbal and written communication skills
• Experience presenting to small groups focused on SAP solutions and functionality
• Business process analysis and design experience: seasoned business analysis skills, process mapping, business process design, and implementation skills
• Systems implementation skills: requirements/process analysis, conceptual and detailed design, configuration, testing, training, change management, and support
• SAP ACTIVATE methodology experience desired
• General consulting skills, including team facilitation, business case development, and business assessment/strategy
• Experience working collaboratively in teams comprised of US based and offshore staff
• Experience interacting with clients and building successful business relationships
• Demonstrated problem solving and critical thinking skills

Technical Skills:

Experience with technology in one or more of the following areas:

• SAP S/4HANA experience required (version 1709 or higher)
• SAP Fiori UX experience executing data migration cockpit transactions
• Skilled in using Microsoft Office tools including PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Microsoft Project, and Visio
• Basic understanding of the master data objects used in the following modules: FI, CO, SD, MM, EWM, PP, and QM
• Good understanding of data migration processes, software development life cycle tasks, solution testing processes, business and technical cutover planning activities, and solution management processes

Travel:

• 80% Travel
• Regular and expeditious travel throughout the United States is required to meet client needs and timetables
