Description

  • Identifies main integrative topics for the ERP controlling template and defines clear priority areas

  • Identify and operationalize the customer demands of related stakeholders. Prepare and provide business requirements for changes in the ERP template for the area of responsibility in close cooperation with the ERP controlling template product owner, BUs, IS and finance functions

  • Define and ensure a consistent cross-process / Cross-BU ERP controlling template for the priority areas in close cooperation with C&P CoE, Bus, related functions and other global workstreams.

  • Responsible for defining and monitoring the key critical technical and functional skill sets in CP&O in order to maintain and govern the ERP controlling template

  • Establish and manage the value flow concept for the global controlling processes in close cooperation with C&P CoE, BUs and related functions

  • Manage the global ERP controlling template related to intercompany process in close cooperation with C&P CoE, Bus, related functions and other global workstreams.

  • Manage the global ERP controlling template related to COPA  in close cooperation with C&P CoE, BUs, related functions and other global workstreams.

  • Manage and govern the SAP enterprise structure for controlling

  • Manage the overall repository of global test and validation scripts related to the ERP controlling template

  • Drive harmonization and standardization in close cooperation with C&P CoE, BUs and related functions

  • Jointly define the service catalogue in collaboration with C&P CoE for controlling practice and operations, aligning the service scope between involved delivery organization and stakeholders, e.g C&P CoE, CSS Finance, IS, Group Reporting & Consolidation

  • Establish and manage related global regulations for Controlling for the area of responsibility in close cooperation with Reporting & Consolidation, Finance function, BUs and IS and, where required, with Hitachi HQ.

  • Establish and maintain a governance model for process changes for the area of responsibility aligned with the governance model for the global ERP controlling template in close cooperation with the ERP controlling template product owner, BUs, IS and finance functions

  • Manage process change requests for the area of responsibility in alignment with change requests for the global ERP controlling template in close cooperation with the ERP controlling template product owner, BUs, IS and finance functions

  • Support continuous improvement of controlling processes for the area of responsibility together with C&P CoE

  • Represent area of responsibility in decision bodies for controlling related processes and related controlling ERP template and non-ERP tools and system architecture

  • Coordinate the key and power user network globally related to the specific area of responsibility as the overall global “template/product owner “

Qualification, Knowledge, Skills, Experience:

  • Master’s Degree in Finance and Accounting or Business administration preferably with technical degree in combination

  • More than 10 years of experience in Accounting, Finance or Controlling

  • More than 10 years of experience in managing ERP projects in finance related modules, with main focus on the SAP CO Module

  • Profound operational experience in S/4 Hana

  • Proven track record of managing change and working in a service delivery model environment

  • Robust process understanding of the C&P content and technical perspective

  • Operational business experience as a SAP key / power user

  • Operational technical finance manager profile

  • Very good understanding of Hitachi Energy Business set-up and interconnections

  • Ability to interact, lead and own global projects and programs

  • Excellent communication, partnering and advocating skills, capability to drive change management

  • Excellent problem solving and analytical skills. Proven ability to prioritize and focus detailed tasks on vital key issues

  • Demonstrated ability to achieve objectives to an agreed budget and timelines

  • Ability to think ahead and anticipate prioritizing and plan activities

  • Ability to quickly assimilate complex information and take independent action where necessary

  • Ability to provide direction for process excellence, standardization and optimization initiatives

  • Proficient knowledge of SAP CO, PS and FI Modules and integration to other modules, especially SD and master data including table structures and System Architecture

  • Understanding of end-to-end process and data flows across organisation at business and finance side of Hitachi Energy

  • Fluent in English, other languages are a plus
