The Opportunity

An exciting opportunity has become available within the Finance team based in our Parramatta office, where we are looking for an Accounts Payable Officer to join a collaborative and supportive team. You will be responsible for the validation of data captured during the scanning phase of invoice image capture as well working with internal and external stakeholders to effectively resolve any issues that arise.

Reporting to the Accounts Payable Supervisor - your responsibilities will also include:

  • Ensure timely and accurate validation of invoice in the AP automation software.
  • Periodic reconciliation of vendor accounts
  • Ensure the branches process creditors invoices in accordance with company policy
  • Ensure payments are processed in accordance to company policies
  • Prompt response to enquiries by internal and external stake holders on any AP related matter
  • Setting up new vendors in accordance with company process and policy
  • Experience in processing invoices in foreign currencies and payment in accordance to company policy.

About You

  • A strong Accounts Payables background with relevant tertiary qualifications
  • Strong ERP Systems experience
  • Strong written, oral communication and interpersonal skills
  • A disciplined self-starter with an eye for detail and accuracy
  • Adaptable to learning and troubleshooting new software applications
  • Experience working in a similar automated environment an advantage
