Opportunity

We are looking for a reliable, organised and enthusiastic individual to join our team in Wellington. The Yardperson will be responsible for the control of truck movements in and out of site, grooming of heavy commercial vehicles, basic repairs and maintenance and running trucks to and from COF's and making sure the site is keep clean and tidy.

Key Responsibilities:

• The transport of heavy commercial vehicles (in and out of the premises) is accurately recorded
• Transport requests for truck moves are co-ordinated effectively and trucks are ready for collection when required
• Ensure that all repairs & maintenance for the premises are carried out so that it is functional
• Ensure that the Company vehicles are fully maintained and are presentable
• Trucks are washed, when directed, using the steam cleaner and presented appropriately
• Workshop and yard are maintained by ensuring that loose rubbish and spills are cleaned up in a timely manner

If you have the following, please apply:

• At least a your Class 2 truck licence
• Strong focus on Health and Safety
• The ability to work as part of a team
• Self-motivation with a focus on service
