Job Description

We are growing our consulting team and looking for Senior Data & Analytics Consultants to join us on our exciting journey and be part of the Hitachi Solutions family.

In this role you will be providing bespoke and cutting-edge advanced analytics solutions, bringing significant commercial advantage to some of the UK's most recognised companies.

The successful candidate will draw upon their experience with business intelligence tools and techniques and to advise clients on analytics best practices and deliver analytics capability on time and to budget.

The main areas of responsibility are:
• Advising clients on the best practices and deliver capabilities in analytics on time and to budget
• Capture client requirements and run workshops
• Model data to develop an effective intelligence solutions
• Design and develop data platform and analytics solutions
• Implement solutions using best practices for the management and transformation of data
• Design and develop effective reports and dashboards to present information in a clear and informative manner
• Mentoring more junior consultants

Qualifications
• Candidates between 3 and 5 years of professional experience
• Relevant degree would be desirable in Data Science, Analytics, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics
• Fluency in English both written and oral
• Experience in client facing activities
• Strong presentation/communication/facilitation skills (oral and written)
• Good problem solving and analytical skills
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office productivity tools
• Knowledge of Azure Data Platform and SQL Server
• Ensure Architectural standards are followed
• Ability to model and transform data, build ETL solutions and present data in a useful business context
• Experience developing data warehouses & data marts using the Kimball methodology
• Knowledge of programming languages e.g. T-SQL, Python, DAX/M, C#, R
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical requirements
• Collaborate with and coach other junior data engineers and analysts
• Ability to effectively collaborate with other engineers as well as internal/external stakeholders
• Good organisational skills
• Strong collaboration and teamwork skills
• A strong sense of responsibility and autonomy
• Ability to work independently
• Availability to travel on client site, including abroad
• A demonstrable passion for data, analytics & technology
• French or German speaking (Desirable)
