For our Marketing and Sales local Grid Integration Unit we are looking for a Market Manager.
You will work in Marketing and Sales Unit and you will report to the Marketing and Sales Manager Grid Integration Italy.
You will have a key role to represent the interests of the Global Business Unit in the given country, to develop profitable and sustainable sales for the complete Global Business Unit portfolio and implement locally the globally strategies.
You will have a key role for the development of the reference market, for achieving the sales targets and for the support of the tender management.
In terms of market development, you will have the following main tasks:
Domestic market budget definition with Italian customer for both greenfield plants and extension/revamping opportunities and for service activities. Market target is related to high/medium voltage systems for utility, transportation, industry and renewable segments with particular focus on power quality, datacenter grid connections and mobile-prefabricated substations
Market analysis for total market sizing and for identification of macro-trends.
Definition of demand market budget based on market analysis and stakeholders inputs
In terms of sales targets, you will have the following main tasks:
Business development for new markets /customers in collaboration with the account managers
Direct sales activities to the customer with "added value" and consultant approach.
Negotiation and finalization of the contract directly with the customer.
Project presentation to internal stakeholders for “Go-No Go” and “Bid-No Bid” decisions
General overview of the project pipeline and manage KPIs in Sales Force (hit rate, pipeline maturity, forecast/back-up, etc) by participating in monthly HUB/Local Marketing and Sales meetings
Communicate and spread the global HUB marketing and sales strategy within local Italian unit
In terms of tender management, you will have the following main tasks:
Manage the capture team defined during project presentation as capture team leader for the preparation of the offer.
Collaborate with Tender responsible on aspects related to risk analysis, contractual conditions, technical solutions to be proposed and financial topics
Monitoring of the tendering activities according to internal processes
Electrical engineering degree or technical high school diploma
10 years of relevant experience in a similar role
Good command of written and verbal English
Salesforce knowledge preferred.
Solid experience in marketing, business development, market analysis, electrical system solutions selling, account management, tender management for electrical systems, added value proposition and consultancy for complex solutions.
Understanding of contractual terms and conditions, risk management and commercial and legal terms.
Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, customer-focused mindset, proactive and “can-do” attitude”.
