STOREROOM ASSOCIATE- LOGISTICS

Hitachi Rail is looking for an enthusiastic self-motivated STOREROOM ASSOCIATE- LOGISTICS who thrives in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate is comfortable performing a wide range of tasks from administrative to strategic. The position is based in Batesburg, SC - USA.

Accountabilities:

Work in Logistic Warehouse pulling Work orders, Sales orders, loading and unloading trucks. Have ability to learn how to drive forklifts, order pullers, and reach trucks. Must be able to lift 25-35 lbs. on a regular basis. Some computer knowledge is needed. Ability to work alone or in a team environment. Must be able to get along with coworkers. First shift job that starts at 7AM. Some overtime may be required on a short notice and some weekends.

• 3-5 years of experience working warehouse/distribution/manufacturing environment
• Forklift, Reach Truck and Order Picker Certified
• Move material to and from Receiving Inspection
• Put away dock to stock material into bin locations.
• Ability to confirm parts into WMS (SAP)
• Fill material requisitions for manufacturing
• Cycle count
• Consolidate stock as needed.
• Assist Receiving as needed.
• Ability to interface with management, inside suppliers and other functional groups.
• Must have good oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to work in a team environment and also work independently.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
