Summary of the position:
Sullair’s Purchasing Manager leads a team responsible for the sourcing and delivery of all the materials and services necessary to support its factory production and aftermarket operations. This group is responsible for local sourcing and procurement activities in support of Sullair’s Corporate Global Supply Chain.
In addition to procurement responsibilities, the group also oversees the material planning process. It controls the material planning parameters in SAP and updates them accordingly, to strike the proper balance between inventory levels and production requirements. Monitoring the flow of incoming material, processing defer and cancel messages, and expediting material are included in the daily activities. This position also manages Quality notifications and invoicing issues for resolution. The Purchasing Manager helps develop core supplier relationships, with a mandate to meet organizational standards in respect to quality, service and best commercial value. This role is responsible for policy compliance for the acquisition of all goods and services within Sullair.
This position is located at Sullair's manufacturing plant in Michigan City, Indiana.
