Mechanical Designer

Description

We seek for “Mechanical Designer” who will be able to demonstrate knowledge in Hitachi Energy, in Dudullu, Istanbul, with below qualifications;

Your responsibilities

• Making mechanical design using 3D/2D CAD programs by demonstrating advanced knowledge of principles and practices in related areas,
• Providing cost effective quality solutions for customer requirements and delivering within budget and contract; solving unique problems by applying technical knowledge,
• Preparing drawings/models and documentation for customer approval process,
• Preparing production drawings and bill of materials considering local and global standards for stakeholders,
• Closing monitoring of deadlines, ensuring timely and accurate approvals and proposal development to support customer requirements,
• Making technical judgements in unique problems considering multiple aspects,
• Finding creative/ innovative ways to tailor complex solutions to business and customer needs,
• Self-planning ability to catch the project timeline up,
• Sharing technical knowledge with stakeholders via various channels, including forums,
• Translating business strategy into clear goals and plans for the team,
• Taking active role in technical negotiations and customer meetings,
• Knowledge of any 3D CAD program is mandatory,
• PTC Creo background is an asset,
• SAP background is an asset,
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Applications,

Your background

• University degree in Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering,
• Very good command of written and spoken English,
• 1-4 years of work experience,
• Analytical mind with strong planning and self-learning skills, team work & result oriented,
• Target oriented, able to communicate effectively,
• Personal leadership and good communication skills,
• Able to initiate team work/capture team,
• Completed military service for male applicants,
• Ability to international travels.
