Operating Unit Manager

Description

Responsible for driving profitable growth of the structure, by implementing and providing input to a global strategy. Acts as the main managerial focal point within the local operating unit including but not limited to the operations, and site development.
 Key Areas of Responsibility:
 Overseeing all tendering activities within the local structure, certifying that the area of responsibility is properly organized, skilled and staffed as per its needs.
 Delivering operational/project targets to ensure customer satisfaction as well as key drivers of productivity, bringing performance and cost optimization to the site where possible.
 Ensuring the achievement of established targets through sufficient regular oversight and creating a definition of actions for improvement where applicable.
 Guides, motivates and develops all subordinates (direct and indirect) within given HR policies.
 
Rsponsibilities of this role include:

• Ownership of short to mid-term (1-3 years) strategy execution and operational direction in alignment with parent/independent organization objectives.

• Decisions have a serious impact on the overall success or failure on area of accountability.

• Interacts with executive leadership and others concerning matters of significance to the organization.
