As part of the Transformer Components Operations team, you will be responsible for driving sustainable and transformational change across multiple components factories, focused on safety, quality and process improvement of the different insulation manufacturing and insulation kit centers processes.

You will work with transformer components factories worldwide, with a wide variety of technologies and equipment, coordinating insulation production and conformation related projects and support global investment projects.  

You will share your knowledge by delivering global trainings to local process engineers.

Your responsibilities:

  • Act as the global process expert for insulation manufacturing related processes. This includes methods and equipment for the entire business and product scope. 
  • Support factories in emergency equipment and process issues.
  • Provide expert support to our factories for process improvement activities, equipment investments and upgrades, and equipment relocations.
  • Conduct factory assessments and follow the implementation of the global manufacturing platform. Drive implementation in a systematic manner.
  • Develop standard equipment requirements, linked with process performance and critical to quality characteristics.
  • Develop and update documentations such as production standards, quality inspection cards and user manuals related to the insulation production and conformation.
  • Optimize and improve the insulation related operations maximizing the asset utilization, at lowest cost, while making sure that the quality standards and customer requirements are met. Special focus on automation possibilities.
  • Develop partnerships with global suppliers for insulation production and conformation equipment, in cooperation with respective category manager and supply quality manager.
     

Your background:

  • Experience in operations from a relevant industry (>5 years)
  • Material or process related background
  • Automation of industrial processes experience
  • Strong analytical and systemic problem-solving skills with clear passion to develop and to drive change:
  • International experience, working with different countries and cultures.
  • Fluent written and spoken English matched with excellent communication skills.
  • University degree
