Are you able to navigate and understand the various regulations and directives related to cybersecurity issued by authorities, analyze them for their applicability to an organization and interact with all levels of the business to ensure necessary compliance.

As global role, there is some flexibility as to primary work location however regular business travel to Switzerland, USA and elsewhere depending on the specific business needs will be required.

The main responsibilities of this role are:
Being the interface between Hitachi Energy legal team and the Operational/Delivery teams
Oversee and maintain Hitachi Energy CFIUS compliance program.
Be the subject-matter-expert of all cybersecurity laws, regulations, directives etc. globally for in-scope countries
Manage all aspects of the compliance program
Sponsor and lead projects to ensure relevant and applicable compliancy by developing an effective, collaborative relationship with a significant number of internal stakeholders across Hitachi Energy
Lead of small team of professionals in the global cybersecurity organizational compliance function
To strengthen the team, we are seeking a person who fulfils these requirements:
Master's Degree
Minimum 10 years professional work experience
Minimum 2 years experience working in a legal or regulatory environment.
Minimum 2 years experience in cybersecurity
Work experience with legal-related cybersecurity topics with proven ability to read, understand and interpret directives, regulations, laws etc. in cybersecurity.
The capability to liaise with operations, delivery, business etc. to ensure that Hitachi Energy complies with them in in-scope jurisdictions
Exposure or experience working with CFIUS
Experience with team leadership and project management
Proven ability to work globally, in an internationally organization, with diverse personalities and different cultures
Strong communication skills and especially very good English-language skills both written and verbal
Work experience in energy / industry sector
