Project Manager Engineering

Hitachi Energy is a global company specializing in the delivery of electrification systems. Our customers rely on our knowledge and advice for the electrification of society. We are currently seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Project Manager Engineering to work in this important field.

Role and Responsibilities:

As a Project Manager Engineering (PME), you will play a crucial role in project development and design. Your responsibilities will include developing concepts and finding optimal solutions to our customers' challenges, in collaboration with our factories and partners. You will work at the intersection of sales and project execution, with extensive customer interaction. Additionally, you will work closely with the project manager, and lead project teams when required.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Proven experience in concept development or system analysis for electrification and grid integration.
• Relevant experience within electric power engineering or in power distribution within the industrial sector.
• Ability to generate ideas and continuously improve our solutions.
• Proficiency in preparing and presenting decision-making frameworks for systems and components.
• Familiarity with modeling electrical installations and experience in sales is advantageous.
• Fluent communication skills, both oral and written, in at least one of the Scandinavian languages in addition to English, is desirable.
• Previous experience in leading project teams is a plus, but not a requirement.

Your workplace will be at our new premises in Helsfyr, Oslo or Flesland, Bergen. Please note that the position may involve occasional travel.
