Associate R&D Engineer -Mechanical design.

Description

​Your Responsibilities:

• Demonstrate knowledge in advanced high-end CAD software Creo.

• Experience in CAD automation, parametric modeling would be an advantage.

• Exposure to Product data management (PDM)/ Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) tool Windchill.

• Knowledge on Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T), Tolerance Stack up Analysis, Design for Assembly and Manufacturing.

• Evaluates, selects, and applies standard techniques and procedures while preparing manufacturing & assembly drawings.

• Bill of materials preparation, manufacturing & assembly drawing.

• As a part of job, shall effectively interact and coordinate with Product owners, Suppliers & Engineering teams located globally.

Your Background:

• B.E. (Mechanical) with 3 years of professional experience.

• Working in engineering of electrical products such as transformers, Insulators, Instrument transformers, Bushings

• Working Experience with 3D modelling for complex assembly and production using tools like CREO (3 years) is must.

• Drafting & Detailing (2D) experience is must.

• Experience in handling projects in PLM/PDM.

• Knowledge of relevant international standards (ANSI, ASME).

• Proficiency in both spoken & written English language is required .
