Description

As a Senior Mechanical Engineer, you will work with some of the most talented engineers in the automation industry.  This role will utilize your technical machine design skills to concept and detail custom industrial automation systems.  The innovative solutions we work on offer diverse experiences that will strengthen your skills and challenge your abilities. 

What You’ll Do:  

  • Apply industry specific knowledge and experience to resolve engineering problems. 
  • Select critical components, create top-level assemblies and product architecture. 
  • Make recommendations for design direction. 
  • Complete layout of machine through detail of all components 
  • Recognize and implement design and workflow improvements.  
  • Assist with the successful management of assigned projects as they relate to cost, quality, timing and customer satisfaction.

What You’ll Bring: 

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field OR Associates degree with 2 years of related experience  
  • FE Exam OR EIT preferred OR other technical Certifications preferred 
  • 5+ years of related experience   

Skills You’ll Have:  

  • Experienced with CAD software (e.g. SolidWorks, Creo, NX, AutoCAD). 
  • Capable of creating machine designs with complex assemblies and subassemblies.  
  • Able to perform structural analysis of mechanical parts and systems. 
  • Knowledge to lead others. 

Other Details:  

  • Travel up to 20% to customer sites & other JR locations 
  • May represent the organization in communications and conferences. 
  • Lead teams and influence project direction and progress. 
  • Serve as a technical expert in the department and may mentor/train developing engineers.
